DOHA, QATAR — 1507.media is proud to announce the successful delivery of comprehensive end-to-end broadcast services for the prestigious Polo AlMarsa Qatar 2025. Leveraging its state-of-the-art Outside Broadcasting (OB) infrastructure, 1507.media provided viewers with an immersive, Ultra high-definition experience that captured the speed and elegance of elite polo.
Cutting-Edge Technology Deployment
At the heart of the production was 1507.media’s newly commissioned OB Van, featuring a high-performance ecosystem designed for the rigors of live sports:
Panasonic KAIROS Core: This IT/IP-based platform served as the production's brain, allowing for uncompressed processing and ultimate flexibility in multi-layer composition.
Precision Optics: A fleet of Panasonic UC4000 and UB10 cameras provided crystal-clear imagery, ensuring every fast-paced manoeuvre on the field was captured with clinical precision.
Dynamic Graphics: SPX Graphics were utilized for real-time scoring and timing. The system was integrated directly into the KAIROS environment via HTML5, ensuring a seamless, low-latency visual overlay.
Enhanced Fan Engagement: A dedicated replay system was integrated to provide instant analysis and slow-motion highlights, significantly elevating the spectator experience both on-site and for remote audiences.
Redefining Live Sports Production
The deployment at Polo AlMarsa marks a significant milestone for 1507.media, demonstrating the power of IP-centric broadcast workflows in a live sporting context. By combining the flexibility of the KAIROS platform with high-end Panasonic acquisition tools, 1507.media delivered a sophisticated visual narrative that matched the prestige of the event.
"Our goal for Polo AlMarsa was to merge technical innovation with the tradition of the sport," said a spokesperson for 1507.media. "With the new OB Van and the integration of HTML-based graphics, we’ve proven that we can deliver world-class broadcast quality with incredible efficiency."
